Internships and Voluntary Opportunities

Nepal Matters for America, a Washington DC-based think tank working exclusively on doing research and building expertise on the US-Nepal bilateral relations, and is working closely with the Congressional Nepal Caucus in the Capitol Hill  is hiring several  interns and volunteers now. Our research focus is on the following areas: US-Nepal economic and trade relations, US-Nepal strategic relations, human rights and group rights in Nepal, post-earthquake reconstruction and foreign investment in Nepal as well as different dynamics, including social and economic, of Nepalese diaspora in the US.

We are looking for the following: researchers, writers, editors and web content managers. The interns will work remotely/ online.

The interns and volunteers will contribute according to their own interests and expertise to the NMA. We prefer candidates from the field of political science, foreign policy/ international relations, economics, journalism etc. with good knowledge of web page design tools, however, we are equally open to self-motivated candidates from any stream who are interested in researching and writing on international culture, foreign policy, Asian affairs and US affairs.

The internships can be changed into a paid work or paid internship after a semester of performance with us, but that will depend upon our funding situation.
